In February 2021, Governor Asa Hutchinson signed an executive order establishing the Arkansas Council on Future Mobility. After a year of robust initiatives, research, and collecting data, the council is now submitting a final report to the governor with recommendations to make Arkansas the model for others to follow for public-private partnerships in accelerating the use of next-generation mobility technologies.
On December 8th, Governor Hutchinson, along with the Council’s chair, Cyrus Sigari, announced plans for Arkansas to become a global leader in mobility by 2023.
